Lac de lion is a 5 acre lake well stocked with carp, with an average of 3 x 50s caught per party, lots of 30s and 40s with a lake record of 63.5lb.
Located in the Dordogne region of France known for its warm summers and mild autumn, LAC DE LION is a spring fed lake surrounded by oak, beech and pine trees, situated a kilometre down its own track and over a mile from the nearest house which ensures you will have peace and quiet for your weeks fishing.
Lac de lion has been owned by Paul and Debs since 2003 and was stocked with over 120 carp to supplement the existing carp stock in 2004 and only fished occasionally until 2012 when we first advertised it as a commercial fishery. The lake is rested over the winter ensuring the carp are in their prime at the start of each season resulting in large hard fighting fish you will want to catch.
LAC DE LION had an average weight of carp of 32lb in 2015 which has increased in 2016 to 34lb and has risen year on year , showing the steady growth of the fish. The best week so far  saw a group of 2 landing 104 Carp 19x50s 21x40s 24x30s in 2020. With anglers telling us they have never fished a lake where the  40"s and 50"s are caught so frequently with many catching their first 50 after many trips to other lakes (lake record for 40s caught in a week is 43 while the 50s record is 19 in a week( different weeks), with the lake record of 63.5lb), SEE OUR CATCH REPORTS ON FACE BOOK PAGE FOR ANGLERS FEED BACK.With so many repeat bookings weeks are limited so if LAC DE LION is a lake you would like to fish please contact us through our booking form.
We currently only have 29th April for 2023 but we are taking bookings now for 2024.
